Turkish red oil is an anionic surfactant, also known as: Turkish red oil, sulfonated castor oil, sulfurized castor oil. Turkish red oil is an anionic sulfonated oil with a light yellow to brown appearance of transparent liquid, which is an excellent anionic surfactant and an important agricultural chemical book emulsifier. It has a wide range of uses in fabric printing and dyeing, wool lubrication, tanning, metal processing, and wire drawing cooling. It is widely used in textile, papermaking, printing and dyeing, polishing and dispersion, and can be used as an emulsifier and coolant and pesticide emulsifier in the metal cutting and wire drawing industry.
Application:It has the functions of dispersion, lubrication, emulsification, etc., and is mainly used as an oil agent for fiber fabrics, a dyeing auxiliary, a fiber treatment agent, a smoothing agent, and also used as an emulsifier for pesticide emulsifiers and metal processing. The sulfonated castor oil used for papermaking coatings is required to give the coating good fluidity and paintability, improve the water retention of the coating, and control the migration and penetration of the coating solution to the surface of the base paper, so as to enhance the bonding strength of the coating and the base paper.
