Urotopine (Hexamethylenetetramine)

Application：

1. Hexamethylenetetraamine is mainly used as a curing agent for resin and plastics, a catalyst and foaming agent for amino plastics, an accelerator for rubber vulcanization (accelerator H), anti-shrinkage agent for textiles, etc.

2. Hexamethylenetetraamine is a raw material for organic synthesis and is used to produce chloramphenicol in the pharmaceutical industry.

3. Hexamethylenetetraamine can be used as a disinfectant for the urinary system, and 20% of its solution can be used to treat armpit odor, sweat feet, ringworm, etc. It is mixed with sodium hydroxide and sodium phenol and can be used as a phosphorbent in gas masks.

4. Used in the manufacture of pesticides.

Hexamethylenetetraamine interacts with fuming nitric acid to produce highly explosive cyclone explosives, referred to as RDX.

5. Hexamethylenetetraamine can also be used as a reagent and chromatographic analysis reagent for the determination of bismuth, indium, man- ganese, cobalt, thorium, platinum, magnesium production, lithium, copper, uranium, beryllium, tellurium, bromide, iodide, etc.

6. It is commonly used military fuel.

7. Mixed with caustic soda and sodium phenol for gas masks as phosphorbents.
