Application:

Used as raw materials for cold-resistant plasticizers, resins and nylon, etc., used as analytical reagents, etc., mainly used as raw materials for sebacate plasticizers and nylon molding resins, and can also be used as raw materials for high-temperature resistant lubricating oils. Its main ester products are methyl ester, isopropyl ester, butyl ester, octyl ester, nonyl ester and benzyl ester, and the commonly used esters are dibutyl sebacate and dioctyl sebacate. Sebacic acid plasticizers can be widely used in polyvinyl chloride, alkyd resins, polyester resins and polyamide molding resins, and are often used in some special-purpose resins due to their low toxicity and high temperature resistance. Nylon molding resins produced with sebacic acid have high toughness and low moisture absorption, and can also be processed into many special-purpose products. Sebacic acid is also a softener for rubber, a surfactant, a raw material for coatings and fragrances. Use: Gas chromatography tail reducer, separation and analysis of fatty acids, can be used for precipitation and quantitative determination of thorium, and separation of thorium from cerium and other rare earth elements.
