Organic Industrial Chemicals
Dodecanedioic acid (Dodecanedioic acid) is also known as lauric acid. It is an industrial product developed earlier in long-chain diacids. It is mainly used for the synthesis of polymer materials, spices, medicines, etc. Among them, it is one of the most important uses as a polycondensation monomer and dibasic amine polycondensation reaction to form a long carbon chain nylon (also known as polyamide resin) engineering plastics.
Application:
The product is condensed with six times methyldiamine to prepare engineering plastic nylon 6-12, and the diester formed from octanol, butanol and other alcohols can be used as a plasticizer of polyvinyl chloride, nitrocellulose and cellulose acetate, and the diester synthesized with octanol is also used as a high-grade lubricating oil for jet engines and gas turbines, or the base oil of low-temperature grease; dodecidic acid can also be used as a modifier for saturated polyester, a precipitant for metals and a raw material for fragrances and special polyurethanes.
